RF Parts is usually the place to buy tubes from.

But no matter where you buy them from you are most likely to get chinese tubes.

Chinese tubes work, but I have had a few fail. One of them took out the fuse and grid resistor in my AL811H.  The others have had their anode caps come off.

I just bought some 572s from RF Parts. There was a mixup and they sent me 3 811s instead. I called them and 3 minutes and several questions later, they sent me 3 new 572s via 2nd day air and a return label for the 811s. I am pleased with the tubes and very pleased with the service. Everyone makes mistakes, it's how you deal with them that matters. I could've bought the tubes cheaper on Ebay but I doubt that I could've returned at all much less at the sellers expense.

I believe the only 811s and 572s available are Chinese. They are Taylor branded but they're Chinese.

They are labeled Taylor but I understand that RF Parts buys Chinese tubes and prints Taylor on them as no one else manufactures them anymore.

RF Parts is probably the best place to buy replacement tubes for your amp. They are Chinese but RF Parts checks them out and stands behind their tubes.

I replaced the finals in my AL-811 with Cetron 811A's from Surplus Sales of Nebraska. They were running a sale on these U.S.A.-made tubes. 1988 date codes. Probably made under a gov't contract for 30L1 spares still in use at that time.

I think these are very nice tubes, not that I ever had an issue with the original tubes that came with the amp. Probably Chinese, possibly Russian. MFJ sells replacements also; perhaps something to consider.

Amateur Electronic Supply.....

     572B     TUBE     $59.99
    811A    TUBE    $24.99

Not sure where they are manufactured, the website doesn't specify. Maybe the paper catalog does...

The Svetlana 572b tubes would be great for that amp.  While they are not that great compared to other 572b tubes, they make great replacements for the 811/811h amps.  And the price is right too.
