My fairly late model KWM2A works fine, however I have to very frequently re-zero the 100kc calibrator to WWV.  I changed 6U8A tubes, no help.  Any ideas?  Thanks.  John

Bad 100 kHz crystal?  Have you tried a different one?

Good idea!  I have another in a 75s3b, so I'll switch and see if the problem switches.  Thanks.

If the Crystal change doesn't do it, check any added capacitance across the circuit.  You may have a disc ceramic that is going south.  I found this on a Drake transceiver some time ago.

Good DX!
