I am looking for digi-key p/n for the 4 pin mic connector and panel jack for same.
I found a SR30 series, but looks like 20 bucks for a set.  Can't afford that.  Rat Shack all out and don't look like they're going to be filling their bins anytime soon.

Also I haven't got the ptt figured out beyond the panel connector. Am I going to need a dc relay?  I don't think I want 60Hz trespassing through the mic cord either.

thanks,
NEO

Try one of the online electronics parts sources.  Rat Shack isn't good for much in the way of any parts anymore, and will only get worse in the future.

The DX60 I used to have had a "one-pin" connector (center and shield), but we may not be talking about a Heathkit here.

For other mic connectors, check this site:

Yep.  Mark is right.  If it is a Heathkit DX-60 it should just have a center contact with a screw on shield.  That's it.  Almost like the bottom of a small light bulb.  Just like the old Heathkit Two-er and Six-er.  Same connector.  Can't recall the name of it, but it was in use a lot in the late 50's and early 60's.

Good luck.

Yep,  DX-60 has the coax type connector on it.  I'm switching over to the 4pin connector to run PTT.

Found some at a remote rad shack when I was visiting my daughter.

Now just have to figure out how to get the ptt thing going on.
