Just thought I'd share a cute story for everyone with antenna restriction problems.  My friend has been a ham for a few years, but has never been able to put up an antenna because his condo board and regulations don't allow outside antennas of any kind.  Tragically, someone in his community was lost in the WTC attacks on September 11, and many people started putting up flags!  The board said that the flags were perfectly OK, so my friend rushed right out and bought a new HF vertical, slid it inside a PVC pipe that he painted, and hung a gorgeous American flag on it!  Some board members actually even complimented him on how nice his flag looks!!  Three cheers for patriotism, and good ole American ham ingenuity!!! Wait till they find out it is also an antenna.  The excrement will contact the ventillation system.  Some deed restriction even specifically bar the flag pole antenna.

That's a great thing!!! Too Bad they have to OK the flag. The point is well taken though.
