I just got a used Icom 735 on eBay and would like a referral to a decent tech who could align it and check it out for me. I live in South Central PA.

I *HIGHLY* reccommend Scott Malcolm at Malcolm Technical Support in Colville, WA.  He was working in service at Icom America the entire time the IC-735 was in production.  His rates are reasonable, his work is first class, and his turn around time is pretty darned quick.

Look at the reviews MTS gets at:  http://www.eham.net/reviews/detail/1786

The MTS website is at: http://www.angelfire.com/biz2/mts/

Scott has repaired three different Icom rigs for me and I've been extremely pleased each time.

I second that! Scott is top notch. Does a great job and is very reasonable. I keep his business card handy should I ever need his expertise in the future.
You can't go wrong with MTS.
