I would like any information concerning using my old MC-50 desk mike on my New Kenwood TS-570SG.  I realize there are features due to the 8 pin connection on the 570 that won't be available with the 4 wire cable on the MC-50.  The Mc-50 is capable of 600 Ohms which is ok for the 570.  My question...can I rewire to an 8 pin plug using only my 4 available wires?  All I really want is PPT and the ability to change from receive to transmit.  I need a pin out for my 4 wires and where to connect them on the 8 pin 570 plug.  Can I get this to work?  Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks es 73
