Does anyone know of a source for SD1074 RF power transistors. Or, perhaps a suitable alternative?

You might try (http://www.americanmicrosemi.com). Whether they have any in stock I can't say. In any case, they may indeed know of a replacement.

A possible substitute might be NTE318.  I used a transistor cross reference search engine at the NTE website to find this cross reference.  A data sheet is provided for the NTE318 transistor in Adobe Acrobat format.  Link is

Best wishes and 73.

Thanks for the input.  The NTE318 is the most available but prices range from $40 to $36 each. The amplifer did not cost that.I may just keep it for parts and go back to eBay to get another amp. Only need 50w to 75w. I have 2.5w drive available.

Thanks,
