Has anyone taken a stock Hustler 5BVT and added the 30m trap to make it a 6BTV? If so, where did you find the 30m trap for sale?

Yes, I did this upgrade with the 30m add on kit, it is available from DX Engineering as the HUS-30-MTK. The kit includes the trap and a new shorter top section with the mounting stud for the 80m resonator. The modification worked well for me and I had no trouble finding resonance on 30m, the other bands seemed unaffected by the change.

Just a "head's up":

I also upgraded one of my 5BTV's with the Hustler 30M kit.  I found that I still had to cut a small section (3/4") off the "shorter" tube they supplied to get it resonant.  Probably just due to the specifics of my particular installation, but it tuned perfectly after that.  So, don't panic if it tunes wierd on your first try.
