I am looking for suggestions and advice regarding operations in Brazil.  Plans are for several of us to travel there later this year.  I'm aware of the IARP process but was wondering whether there were any other details to work through. Thanks.

I'd suggest you check out the ARRL webpage where they offer lot's of info regarding this subject under the licensing topic. If you are not a member of the ARRL....this is another good reason to become one.
