I just downloaded and tried to install the Kenwood MCD700 program from their website.  It unzips fine but when you go to install it, it just hangs?  Any ideas?

Thanks, Frank@N9GQR.COM

Frank, not sure what the problem may be.  I installed this program as well as the ones for the TMG707 and THD7 on my laptop and all worked OK first time.  I know they all use a COM port.  If I remember, COM1 is default but can be changed.  Do you have a COM port available?  IF so, you might want to be sure some other program is not grabbing it & causing a conflict.  Perhaps your install file is corrupted so you might want to download it again.  Not a whole lot of help, I'm afraid, but somewhere to start.

Good luck,
