Thanks.. I just signed up for them... I have to say for a Newbee to this it could use some improvement!

EG. bring up call sign date from the site, like form www.qrz.com

I can not find how to look up my own log easly

Building a card .. wonderful templits but if you have a full image the customzation could use improvment.

Also, after logging I would hope I could send a eqsl card but not sure if I am or not..

And work on making the web site less cluttered.. L0oks like stuff was thrown up not placed for readablity.. with my dyslexia this makes using it very stressful.

Sound like I have the best from your input. I hope the improve it.

I USE EQSL EVERYDAY AND I FIND IT TO BE VERY EASY TO USE BECAUSE I'M NOT VERY COMPUTER SMART. TRY LOTW AND THEN MAKE UP YOUR MIND WHICH IS EASIER. I FIND LOTW TO BE A BIG PAIN. I DON'T USE LOTW BECAUSE IT COST FOR EVERY CARD. JUST A PAIN.

None of them.

Go buy 500 cards and mail them.

I'm sure eQSL would love your help making their site better.

Eqsl is "easier" if that's what you are looking for. Keep in mind that should you want to get any of the paper awards, that eqsl does not count. LOTW is free to use. It only costs if you actually apply for an award. It's not that difficult, just secure.

Ditto what K2WH said.

"I DON'T USE LOTW BECAUSE IT COST FOR EVERY CARD."

This is a distortion.  The only costs associated with Lotw occur when you want to apply a confirmation toward a DXCC or WAS award.  I have over 900 Lotw confirmations and have only applied a couple dozen for DXCC awards credit.

eqsl, really nice. Although there are those that will certainly disagree, but then we all don't like the same rigs either. I guess it's one of those, my chevy rides better than your ford pickup kind of things, and it certainly does ride better than any ford. Hi Hi, its really "true" but this does give him a perfect example that us hams will not agree on everything. My chevy even gets better gas mileage too and the 327 has much more power than the ford. hi hi...Now you ford guys may want to argue about the ride, you'll never convince me...and you'll be flat telling a story if you even attempt to say you get as good of gas mileage as my chevy. Just have fun on the air and hope this next upcoming sunspot cycle is a really nice one. 73 John WR8D

Martin,

I use eQSL and think it is great, my logging program uploads to eQSL and LOTW. After 40 years and 3 shoe boxes full of cards, I only send a card to one I receive, or if someone on eQSL asks for one. I resisted at first, but it's the 21st century so I'm getting over it. Sure saves time and money. Catch you on eQSL or LOTW.

Thanks for your reply.. you seem to know eqsl well so I would like to ask you some questions:

How do you send a eqsl after you log the call?

How do you look up their call sign in side of eqsl (so you can use that info right there)?

If they are not in the system how do you know and does it try to contact them if they are not?

Do YOU pay for it and support it? I signed up to pay today.
