I have a spare computer with a sound card and a West Mountain Rigblaster. I'm looking for a 2 meter rig and want to use the computer to act both as a digipeater and an Internet gateway for APRS.

Rather than do with a TNC, I would like to try and use my existing computer/sound card and rig blaster. Any ideas on how I do this? Are there any digipeater software packages for running the entire thing through the computer rather than a TNC?

Also, how do I establish a gateway to submitt APRS data so everyone can pick it up on teh tracking web sites?

Thanks.

I think WinAPRS will work for you - I know I have used it with a Rigblaster and 2M and it works great.  There is also a sound card interface program called AGWPE that you may need to use.

I just started using AGWPR and its awesome. You can also use MMSSTV to send slow scan best of both worlds not including echolink,EQSO.
