I've wired an interface cable between my rig and the computer,have installed Flexnet and terminal software,everything seems configured,but when I hear a packet transmission,I dont know how to monitor or connect to them

I've tried both Winpack and AGW.Problem is getting the terminal sofwtare to decode the incoming signal,I see the signal on the rig's display but nothing coming up onscreen,have followed everything step-by-step,but must have overlooked something
