Does anyone know first-hand if APRS is functional along the Allegheny trail between Pittsburgh and D.C.?

Not first hand, but last time I was through Somerset county on the turnpike, I heard a few digis. You should plan on having a half decent antenna with you, and run at least 5Watts.
