To me the programming of the 202 is confusing.I just put a new memory battery in it and have managed to get one repeater in P1. My question is when I get the +- offset in mem and change to a different channell, the - will be missing. Also, to save info in mem, I'm confused as to press F + Ptt and whatever to save.
Can anyone help?

Press VF and tune to freq
Press F and rotate TUNE until the memory number to the left of the display shows the standard memory you want to store into..

Press F+M-WR for at least 1 second to store

Hope that helps if not try to find the manual online

Hi,

Here is a link for the pdf file of the manual, I have several of these radios as well as the htx-404, they are workhorses and will last a good long time, batteries plus can rebuild the rechargable battery packs also.
