I just picked up a T4XC that was owned by a very heavy smoker. I have cleaned the inside chassis and the outside cabinet but before I remove the PTO and tackle the dials I thought I would seek the advise of those who have done it before. Can I use a cleaner like 409 and clean the dials? I do not want any of the dial markings to rub off. Has anyone done this before? What did you use? Is there any other thing/procedure I can use to do clean it completely?
Thanks

After you use the 409 be sure to use clean water for a good rinsing.  Some of the commerical cleaning and ammonia based products will leave a residue that eats into some plastics.
