I´m looking for info info how intercconnet my TS-450 to a Coolins 30L-1.

I read that the original Collins 30L-1 circuit had -170 volts on the keying line (-120 volts on transmit).  This voltage will cause damage to modern rigs???

Also the RF-Input at the 30L-1 is rca-type.

Your advice will be appreciatted.

Javier -

You will need an external relay, such as the AmpKeyer or you can place an internal HEXFET switch inside the 30L-1 to reduce the voltage and current for modern solid-state tranceivers.  If you take the internal approach - you might as well check the HV capacitors and diode string.  K1ROD and WN4I makes nice replacement board for the old top hat diodes (that do fail over time).
