I have a Kenwood R-1000 shortwave receiver and I need some replacement lamps.  These are 12V leaded incandescent bulbs with a bulb diameter of 0.16 inches.  The length is a little over half an inch.  The leads leave the bottom of the bulb.  The lower half is covered in shrink wrap.

I am looking for a supplier.  Can anyone recommend one?

Thanks.

These lamps are commonly called "grain of wheat" lamps and can generally be found at Radio Shack. If not try Mouser and DigiKey.

THis lamps can also be found at many hobby stores that carry model railroad parts and accessories.

If you're so inclined, you might consider replacing them with yellow, or clear LEDs, with a tiny limiting resistor in one lead.  You'll never have to replace a bulb again!
