Bug Nets? (not butterfly net) :-D

Does any one know where or if there is a regular bug key net on either 80 or 40 meters, and east of the Mississippi River?

I have done a Google search and went through 20 pages with the search terms; "ham radio bug key net" and tried "ham radio bug key schedule (and sked)." These yield pretty much nothing referenced to an on air net, anywhere...  Then I tried just "bug key net" and got over 1.6 million hits on computer junk...

I have been a member of FISTS since 1998, March.
(N8NSN = FISTS # 4614)  
No Bug nets found :-(  I am a lapsed membership dues payment member, but I do keep up with the website.  Still make some FISTS contacts and use the QSL bureau, as well.

I was not able to find anything through FISTS.

Maybe the only way to find a bug key net would be to start one? (shrugs shoulders)

One night a week would be fun.

It seems that lately a lot more folks are breaking out the old bug keys and knocking the dust off the contacts.

Any suggestions on how to get a net started?  Nothing extravagant... just a simple one night a week, one hour or so long, bug key net.

Jim,

Trying to start a net should be pretty easy.

Pick a day, time and frequency.

Post that info on the CW Forum (and maybe the Misc Forum) here on eHam and on similar forums elsewhere (QRZ.com, FISTS, etc).

Get on the air at said day, time and frequency and call CQ Bug Net -- and see if anyone comes back to you.

It won't be me; I'm a phone guy.
