With all the renewed interest in security from the events of September 11, 2001, it appears that timing could be good for introducing the subject of "Emergency" status for our regular Georgia Ham license tags, in this upcoming legislative session.

I believe a similar bill was introduced some time ago but failed to get out of committee. I am thinking of something similar to what Tennessee and other states have on their ham tags.

If anyone has information, pertinent to this issue or maybe has some ability to influence their respective representative please contact me so we might "get the ball rolling"!

Thanks,

What exactly would such a designation do for us?

Aren't you just so jealous of the Tennessee HAM license plate?
