I just need some help from the hams out there who used to BUILD REPAIR or SERVICE SWAN radios.
Particularly the SWAN 700CX.

I am looking for ideas about what could have shaken loose during shipping. That could cause the rig to work fine except no TX

I Bought a Excellent Condition Swan 700CX from an Elmer.

It has been carefully checked; Good Tubes, Finals, Aligned, Switches, and Relay's Cleaned, Rock solid VFO.

The Meter shows 800ma right when I switch it on then drops to Idle 50ma. Everything works, relays switches,
reciever, can tune grid plate load for maximum hiss.

The PS mounted speaker did not work.
When I pulled the plug apart I discovered the purple speaker wire normally connected to pin 6 had been pulled loose.
I reconnected it and the speaker works.
Now there is a hum in the speaker I can't get rid of.

Any thoughts on the top 5 reasons why a 700cx won't TX?
