I would like to introduce the forum to an ARES registration site implemented in Arizona. The site is located at:
www.az-arrl.org/secure The site sits behind an SSL certificate to protect user data. We collect data we feel would be needed to plan an EMCOMM response. Access to the data is closely held to a small group of ARES management folks in Arizona. The demo below is what an operator who registers would be presented with. The AZ ARES management has a suite of tools to massage and filter the database to assist in locating operators who might have specifically needed capabilities.
If you would like to view the site, we have a demo account which you can look at, and I would appreciate you leaving any comments (guest book style) on the registration panel's comment section.

This project represents several thousand hours of work, and while it might not fit the needs for every situation, we are pleased with it. We do maintain current backups of the data to protect us in the event of loss of internet capabilities.
As you look at this project, keep in mind it is a work in progress and new capabilities are added as they are developed.
