I just drove by it today and it looks great.  The Drury Inn on Miller Lane (where all the great restaurants are) is set to open May 1, 2005.  I just went to their web site and rooms are available for Hamvention!

https://reservations.druryhotels.com/

I have NO financial interest in this hotel but I have stayed at Drury Inns elsewhere and can recommend.

So for all my eham friends coming to Dayton, you have a new choice of where to stay.

Hamvention visitors:

Don't overlook Richmond Indiana!

Richmond is only 25 minutes away from Hara Arena, and rooms are plentiful and cheap!  Rooms there cost half of what they are going for in Dayton.

There are plenty of places to eat and shop when you get back from a long day at hamfest.

Spend your money at hamfest, not at the hotel!

N3BIF, pools in Ohio usually do not open until Memorial Day Weekend.

"do they have a pool ?"

One question: would operating from the pool count as being marine-mobile?
