Breadboard Construction

I am trying to find a simple yet very thorough plan to construct a 5-10 watt transmitter preferrably for 10/15 meters using breadboard/ugly construction and using a tube. This will be my first attempt at this. Or do you have a suggestion for a book with completet plans similar to what I am looking for. Detailed instr. are imp. to me as I am a novice and there is little help available at my location overseas. Thanks for any replies. Brian

Even if you do not find just the circuit you are looking for, you will find
a lot of information about construction and circuits.

Brian, there are a lot of circuit like the ones you are looking but with transistors( I think much easier)
in the Solid Stade Design for radio amateur book ,from the ARRL.The book is a Classic and very good to read and clear.

You can find a lot of info by typing "tube type radio" in most any search engine.  One source for how-to books is Lindsay Publications (www.lindsaybks.com), a good source for parts is Antique Electronic Supply (www.tubesandmore.com).  I don't know if this is very helpful to you in Germany, but it should get you started in the right direction.
