Recently I converted an HF amplifier to 6m monoband. I am looking for ideas on how to modify the face plate in a not so permanent way. Primarily, I'd like to block out the band selection and tune capacitor markers. So far conversion is very clean, I'd hate to ruin it with an ugly face plate.

Any suggestions? Decals? or should I just bite the bullet and remove the excess silk screen information?
Amp is a SB-1000 Heathkit.
