I've gotten another build thought, wanted to see if anyones already done it or has suggestions how

I want to build a small Tri band Yagi/TV style antenna 6m/2m/70cm's to sit alongside my G5RV and also be fitted to a rotator.

I have figured out the 2m/70cm side just the 6m side which is making the thing larger than I want. I'm thinking having the elements retractable so if the local authority come a looking I can tell em it's a TV antenna so a full size 6m beam is out of the window

Just try using a large TV antenna, thats what the guys around here use for 6m on field day or portable
use. You need a 4:1 balun, it should work 2 & 440 also
anyway i know they work 6m ok.  I had allready bought a 6m log when i saw the guys using these at field day last year or i would be using a yardsale tv antenna to.

It would be much easier on this side of the Pond, where the 54 - 86 MHz
range is still used for over-air TV broadcasting.  That makes it easier
to length the elements a bit on a standard TV antenna to cover 6m and
not have it appear noticable.  But I think that most TV broadcasting
has moved to UHF in the UK now, which would make the 6m elements
more noticable.

Perhaps you can use the boom of the array as a loaded dipole for 6m?
Or hang a 6m wire delta loop off the bottom of the antenna?
