I would like to know if anyone has used a MFJ 1279 Sound Card CPU interface with a Kenwood TS 820s, If so Can you give some background on how to hook it up. The MFJ 1279 I have came with round 8 pin input and output connectors, How did you go about wiring the 4 pin mic to the to the 8 pin 1279 and then  from the 1279 8 pin output to the 4 pin plug on the transceiver.  I have a Yaesu MD-1 mic with a 8 pin output plug connected to the Kenwood now by way of a adaptor plugs, this allows me to connect the 8 pin Yaesu mic directly to the 4 pin Kenwood  transceiver so I think to connection mic to 1279 may be handled by that adaptor.  I could use some guidance on connect the 8 pin 1279 output to the Kenwood transceiver. If you would be able to help me I would appreciate be contacted at Ka3ebe@comcast,net

I recommend downloading the 1279 sound card interface's
manual on MFJ's website. You will need it to make
jumper settings in the 1279. Also read the 820's
manual section on use of the 820's rear panel phone
patch sockets (audio into and out of the 820).
