Hi I would like to get some feed back about what would be the best option on a comertial dual band antenna to use on ham and mars bands(vhf/uhf)

Larsen NMO270B or NMO270C. The difference is the finish - B is black, C is chrome.

These antennas are commercial grade, not amateur grade, and are almost indestructable. Forget the Diamonds, Comets, Maldohls and the rest. Their gain claims are bogus and their contruction isn't near what the Larsens are. Larsen's whips are one-piece and there is nothing to break. Mine is on it's 4th vehicle (middle of a Windstar roof) are regularly survives airport parking garages.

I bought the Diamond 7000 series antenna. I was amazed to find it was 1:1 across the board from 440-465 mhz and 2 meters was flat also. I would recommend the 7000 or the 7500. they are great
