starting a few months ago at my house all of a sudden there was alot of RF interference that keeps 2.4ghz-cordless phones,Cell phones,RF remotes controls, etc from working,,about the only thing that does work is the garage door. I know by FCC regs, i must accept this anoying bs. But is there anyway i can cheeply track down where this is coming from, or maybe even return the favor ;-).or something,,.Thanks in advance for any help,, I apologize if this type of post is out of line or otherwise bothersome

Well, I don't think you need to accept that problem at all. Where are you located? Does the interference affect all those devices you listed? If so, I do think there is a problem that has to be addressed by whomever is causing it. That is too broad a spectrum to go unfixed.  If you do not want to pursue the trouble, I would suggest using ferrite beads on the wires and leads to each device to block the interference. If you know anyone with a RF sniffer, maybe they can help you track the problem. A call to the FCC may illicit some further help. You may also look for a local ham club and see if they have an RFI chairman or group that may be interested in sniffing out the interference just for practice. Good luck
