Looking for a 8-pos. modular A-B switch (1 mic / 2

I can't be the only Yaesu radio owner who wants to use one desk mic on two radios (FT-920 & FT-847).  The Yaesu MD-100 (1 great desk mic) uses a 8-position modular-type connector at the base.  An A-B switch with 1-in/2-out 8-position modular jacks would solve the problem nicely.  I could build this, but I thought this is likely to be available commercially. Does anyone know of such a device?  73-Steve

Yep.  Try the MFJ-1272 family of switches.  These are listed as "TNC-Mike" switches, but they are in fact 8 or 9-pole A/B switches.  Their intended use is to switch an FM rig back and forth between a microphone and a TNC.  Obviously, the "TNC" can simply be another microphone, if you wish.  They come prewired in a variety of ways for a variety of rigs, check out all the part numbers.
