One of the reasons I think this hasn't been answered is that it is not specific enough. I assume a MD100 is a base microphone. If it is, and it is like the other Yaesu products, it is an 8 pin. The FT767 (I'm not an Yaesu user) should have the same pinout.

Yaesu, Icom, and a few others have DC voltages applied to the microphone hot lead to power electrec condensor microphone. Thus some off brand microphone are difficult to adapt.

I'm not sure this is what your looking for, but Yaesu has a "Application Note" AN-9802 which covers the modification of the MD100A8X so it can be used and fully functional with FT-840.  It involves the modification of circuit board (cutting traces) in the microphone and the addition of some components so it can be powered up. Call Yaesu for it.
