Just recently my wife had to put her dad in the nursing home. I have acquired his radio gear. I have an individual interested in buying the Kenwood TS-450, but I'm not sure what is a fair price on this rig. Radio is in good working condition & cosmetics is great on this unit. Any help appreciated...

The best pricing source I've seen is at: http://www.aade.com/hampedia/prices2.htm.

AC6V has a link to this and other information at http://www.ac6v.com/swap.htm.

Good luck & 73 de kt8k - Tim

TS-450S $650, 700
TS-450-SAT $700, 795, 900

You could put it on eBay, I've had good results there.
Good Luck

The prices on QTH.com are around $500 - $550, depending on filters and condition.  I know some people on e-bay pay upwards of $600 but I think that's high considering the price of comparable new equipment.  Sell it on QTH.com for a fair price to a new ham and you'll feel much better about yourself!
