What about the ten tec Orion on AM?


Thats a shame that the ICOM's inhibit distortion on AM.., as they rock with their IF DSP technology.  I've heard there minature IC-706 actually sounds good on AM though, however the IC-718 sounds quite bad..


What about the 746 PRO?  Do either the 746 Pro or 756 Pro II have "forward" modulation..?

I tested my IC718 with a Heil HM-i mike.  My actual off the air recording sounded pretty good.

i use the 718 for am and i get excellent audio reports,stock mic or turner +2.enough said!!!
