 If you have to ask the price of ham gear you can't afford it.
 Ham Radio is a big hole in which the affluent middle class can pour money.
 Remember the old Swan rigs,they were highly prized by the C B community because they had 11 meters on the
band switch.
 This is a response to the scholary blog by the same name appearing in the articles section in which I had to pay a subsription to respond.

If you wish to respond to an article, why not go to the specific article and respond - it hardly belongs here.

Also, one does not (so far anyway) have to pay to post to eHam.  One only needs to register a username (callsign), pick a password and enter a valid email address.

Of course we are grateful for all paid subscriptions - they do keep us "on the air" - but only the bandwidth-hungry aspects of the DX spots feature are disabled for non-paying members.

So, if you have indeed supported us monetarily, thanks!
