I think Icom has made some serious moves in Ham Radio.They have made some excellant radios. I think the 706 speaks for itself,also 746 and the 756 pro2. So with that mentioned Im just waiting for the 7800 which I know will be great. I havent seen a price listing yet but Im sure it will be around 8-10k.I know its expensive,but Its like buying anything in the high end catagory .You get what you pay for.Its not for everyone I know that. At least Icom is doing something more then the rest of the Manufactures in the HF area. Every one have a nice day.Its just a wonderful "hobby". 73's

I'm not so sure of that. I'd sure like to see what the extra several kilobucks would really buy me on that radio. Otherwise, why shouldn't I spend the money on two IC 756 Pro IIs? The price on them is bound to go down now.
