I removed the 8 pin mic connector from the tnc completely, leaving me with the color coded wires. Unfortunately I did this awhile back, and forgot what wires did what. There are 5 of them: Brown, Red, Orange, Green, and Yellow. I figured out that the brown wire is the ground by looking at the pc board but I can't figure out which of the other wires are for: the ptt, external cd, rx, and tx.
Also the DCD light is always on when I power up the unit. I can communicate with the TNC fine but I can't get it to decode any packets using the rx in jack near the RS-232 port. I want to hook it up to my 2m HTX 202 and have the 2.2k ohm and .1 micro farad circuit schematic in hand. I need to know what wires are what and why my DCD light is always lit(I suppose its because of the radio-to-tnc wiring).  Thanks,

- Mike
