Hello everyone. I went boating this weekend and had been fishing all day Saturday and was going to Sunday so I just beached the boat. I went down Sunday morning, got everything ready and pushed off and lost my Yaesu VX-7R off of my beltclip! water was just 3ft deep but submersing any electronic is not good but picked it up and it still worked, just as claimed. I hit the local repeater and worked it for at least 20-25mins.

That is a very good test.  I have one of the VX-7R's and I have never been brave enough to let it get even a bit wet.  haha.
