For fun, who would like to translate this (it is clean!):

-.. . -.-.  .---- .....  --..--  ..--- ----- ----- -....
  - .... .  ..-. -.-. -.-.  -.. .-. --- .--. .--. . -..
-- --- .-. ... .  -.-. --- -.. .

the fcc dropped
morse code
testing requirements
for all
amateur radio
license classes
. ar

<sigh> The end of an era. On the brighter side, maybe what's left of the CW portion of the bands will show an improvement in operator quality and a reduction in QRM...

Still, it saddens an old CW op like myself.

You got it correct!!

I could not sleep so for fun I made a coffee mug about the announcement with what I wrote.

You can see the mug at:

And see clear photo of the graphic at:

Your response inspired me along with lack of sleep!

I still plan on learning code! After I pass the test!

What do you mean by that? If it is more wire over buying a cup. I recommend that. It was just for fun. I support your purchase! Smiley

I pretty much hate novelties, but if people buy them , hey thats great for the merchant.  I fault the consumer and believe that most purchases of any items are unnecessary but thats not the sellers fault. I only wish I could , just once, come up with something someone would buy.
