Does anyone make a standalone 40M rig?  Past or present?

There are lots of QRP CW radios (mostly kits) that feature 40m only.  Check out Wilderness Radio, Small Wonder Labs, etc., if this is what you had in mind.

TenTec Scout with 40 Meter Module and
the Heath HW-22 are two that come
to mind without a lotta thought.
Both are no longer made.

Rob
Why do you want a single band radio? You can get a good used HF rig for around $400 and have other bands already available when you are ready to explore them.
