I would like to try one of the classic desk mic's on my TS-850, I mean the old Turners, Shures, Silver Eagles etc some of which are from the 80's CB days. I would like to hear from anyone who has used one of the Oldie but Goodie mics on an 850...Since my original hand mic is high impedance I am curios as to what will and will not work well with my new ( old ) rig....All comments welcome.....

The TS-850 being a modern solid state radio uses a low impedance microphone, 600 Ohms.

You could use any of the old amplified mics because the amp output is low impedance or if you use any non-amplified crystal use a impedance matching transformer.
