This morning at about 1235 hrs., i was scanning on meter beacon frequencies and I heard a faint cw signals which I copied N7LT/B ... So I qsy to 28.400 mhz phone band I called CQCQCQ ON 10 METERS,THEN I heard response, the call sign was KB7LAK/AIRMOBILE wow I was excited that someone was listening out there in the sky,it was C-135 aircraft. T make the long story short, just try calling CQ CQ CQ on 10 meters though the band is quiet not good but somehow and someone is listening there....
thanks and 73 Gideon

A smoking section in a restaurant makes as much sense as a peeing section in a swimming pool.

I always log my dx qsos, but don't log any state side contacts. I consider anyone transmitting from an in flight airplane DX, even if they are flying over the Lower 48 states, so I always try to call them and log them.  As for 10 meters, you will find that this is now sporadic E season on the band, so calling a CQ is always advisable. Sadly, though, the E season is starting to wind down!....:-(.....but check out the band anyway. Happy hunting.
