I recently "acquired" and AEA MBA-RO that does not have its "wall wart" power supply.  I opened it up and can find no internal indications of what voltage it needs.... from the circuit I would guess it requires DC as there are no apparent rectifiers.

Does anyone know the input voltage 9 VDC or 12 VDC or?  And any operation tips would be helpful... It seems it has been out of production for a long time.  It is sure well built inside! 73 Tom

Thanks very much..... oh boy.... can't wait power it up!  I am sure I won't just settle for this and will eventually head for a computer based decoder but for getting my feet wet on RTTY this should be a good place to start. I was dissapointed to not see "reverse" on the RTTY switch settings but I wonder if it is possible to use LSB or USB to reverse this...

 Thanks again, 73, Tom
