I would like to propose a new forum for "Boating Hams".

This forum would be for Hams, like myself, who use their equipment while boating.

What do you guys think?

Brian,

The real specialty forums don't get much activity here.

I'd recommend a yahoo group or maybe propose a ham forum on a boating site.

Don't want to discourage you, but look at the post rate in the groups like Software Defined Radio and Youth compared to Elmers.

I agree with previous poster.... I think that the boating hams have already got numerous places that are well defined.  Google up "maritime net" or check in on 14.300 megacycles at almost any time and you will find someone who can direct you to an active site.  73, Tom
