I make it my personal policy to never discuss:  Sex, Religion, Money or Politics on the air.

What happen to common sense.I have a small business and
if someone starts a conversation about something I completely disagree with I just work around it and change
the subject. Makes you more moo la..In radio the same thing and you don't make a jerk out of yourselves over the air...Now one on one and face to face ... Let the debate begin...Have fun all.. It is to be fun not serious. I am not going to get mad on the air and have a feud. It's called 73 cul..No need for this

Let all the CBers fight it out with their antenna raiding and cable cutting partys!  Hams are supposed to be courteous and peace loving.

Generally, one tries to avoid discussions of sex, religion and politics.

REPLY: Never! Those topics are too much fun! And yes, freedom of speech is the reason.  If you don't like it, don't listen.  And in this instance of having a repeater involved, the descresion of the control operator is key.  If they don't like it, they have the right to do something about it. Other than that, air is free! (and if some have their way, it may not be).
