Question about RT Systems Software

I downloaded the new version of programming software from RT Systems for my Yaesu FT-50.  It works ok except when I tag the Operating Mode to what it SHOULD be, it doesn't work. For instance I have several Studio Transmitter Links at the radio stations where I'm the chief engineer and when Op Mode is tagged either FM or WFM, the receiver won't work.  But if it's tagged AM, it works??

Aircraft frequencies must be tagged WFM instead of AM before they will work.  

Anyone else had similar experiences with this software. The older versions didn't have this problem.  I had to upgrade because the older version wouldn't work on WinXP.

I've not seen too good a reviews on the RT Systems software but as I said, the older version worked fine before I upgraded my computer.

Any input would be appreciated.

You take a real chance buying RT Systems authored software.  My impression of their quality control is that they use their customers as Beta testers.

I can't say mych about this particular problem, but my RT software for my FT-2800 works like a champ on XP and a 98SE machine.

Maybe I've just been lucky...
