All - just finished putting the last tweaks on a Ham Radio website that allows ham's to list their websites, and also to allow ham's to rate other ham's websites. URL is
http://www.hamqsl.com . It is a TopSite with MYSQL database (you may be familiar with these DB driven sites), and allows a banner that is 500 X 300 pixels. Once you put the Button Code (provided when you join, or can be viewed using the control panel) on your site, a counter at HamQSL is incremented when it's clicked and keeps track of how many people view your site. Joining is immediate - just click join vin the bar and follow directions. The key here is to make a cool banner, and also input a description that represents your
station as they search on the words. I am hoping that this is the ground floor for a good site, and would appreciate your involvement. And hey - one more site promoting our hobby can't be all bad! I am sure that as #1 - I won't last long - as there are many better websites out there than mine! What's cool is - you decide who is #1!
