Helping out someone, I was wondering if anyone had the means to investigate the following.

Current call sign is KK6Z. His original call sign was WA6CGK. He thinks it was about 50 years ago he was licensed.

If anyone can find out exactly when the original license was issued, the person I'm doing this for would really be thankful.

I'm surprised no one or no entity has put all this online making it accessible in milliseconds at the click of a button.

George is listed in my Fall 59 callbook as WV6CGK (Novice). He was probably licensed earlier that year, or possibly in late 58. Unfortunately I am mising the 58 callbooks.

For the record, he's only listed in the Winter 58-59 issue, and not in the Fall 58 or previous issues. That puts his license issue date somewhere in very late summer or very early fall of 1958.
