This is a pretty dumb question but I do need an answer to it! On the Alinco DR-1200 data radio I need to know where the H/L button must be for low/high power?

Is it on low (5 watt) power when it is pressed in or is it on high power when it's it?

I've looked at the book but it only says it's the hi/low power switch.

Isn't there some sort of output meter on that rig?

Key the radio and watch the meter. The position with the greater output is the higher power.

Push Function and then H/L, in sequence (not at the same time). Each time you do that it toggles between low and high power. An indicator in the upper left of the display shows Hi or Lo to indicate the current setting.
