I recently bought a Heil Proset headset and notice on their web page that they talk about the Astron Power Supplies having a floating ground which could cause RF into the audio line. They suggest you run a strap from the negative terminal to chassis inside the power supply.
Is anyone familiar with this floating ground issue in the Astron. I have the Astron RS-35M. I could find nothing on the internet about this except for the article by Heil.

Thanks.........Bob

According to the manual, the negative terminal on the RM-35 is not floating. It's tied to the metal chassis and to the grounding pin on the AC power cord.
