Just Passed My Tech Exam

I just pass my tech test May 4th at a local ham club
here in my area and I'm looking for a cheap handheld
radio. Know any place on the web who takes Paypal
where I can buy a handheld radio?

Congratulations on the license!!!!!

HamCity takes Paypal, I suggest you look at the Yaesu FT 60 for a nice dual band hand held radio, Now selling for around 180 bucks.

IF you can get by with less power and dont really need the DTMF tone pad, Consider the Yaesu VX-3, A great little micro size hand held!

But whatever you get, Do get a dual band VHF/UHF radio. Worth the effort for future projects even if there is not a lot of UHF activity right in your area.
Cross band repeat, etc.
